As a continuation of our duo show H.O.M.E.S., chloe j. harpst and myself created a pop-up exhibition to be held at The Garage, a DIY garage gallery established by Jaer Medina in Holland, MI. This space allowed for us to bring our work into the context of Midwestern culture, where we situated the paintings, prints, and collages, inside a working garage space, blurring the lines between the art and miscellaneous objects Midwesterners tend to hoard. 

Along with the gallery show, harpst and I prepared a Midwest-inspired potluck, putting our own take on the traditional dishes we love, and providing options for different dietary needs.
